Holes by Louis Sachar
4.0

I liked this book.
The writing was a bit simplistic, but the storyline was so good that it didn't really matter. it actually made the book flow better, because all you wanted to do was find out what happened in the end.
It was definitely different from anything I've read before. It had a thought-provoking ending.
I liked the weird little quirky bits about this book, such as Stanley Yelnats is the same backwards and all. I liked the characters, and I liked the weird back story.
I enjoyed this book a lot and I would recommend it.
