aliciachelbeck 's review for:
Lovelight Farms
by B.K. Borison
This book was cheesy cute. I didn't like how LONG it took the main character to realize that her best friend reciprocated her feelings... (a decade, really). I get that she had her own issues to work through and that's what kept her from bringing her feelings to light. BUT, I got angry that everyone could see this except her (or she wouldn't acknowledge it). Also the side plots in this were cute but a little annoying... for example: the whole plot of the book is that the main character wants to impress this influencer to win the prize money for the farm. You don't even get to see that until the latter half of the book and only for a few pages.
Overall I did enjoy this book but I wish the pacing was better
