Not what I was expecting. At first I thought this was going to be about internet sleuthing that becomes obsessive. Then I thought it was a generic missing person mystery where the ending would be extremely obvious or completely impossible to predict. But in the end it is a book where damaged people damage others and the consequences of that damage.

None of the characters are likeable but not in a good way. None of the characters are rational but not in a good way.

I thought that the tone was uneven. My time would have been better spent reading something else.
