We Refuse: A Forceful History of Black Resistance by Kellie Carter Jackson

4.5

Only knocking off half a star because there were a lot of long pauses in between words sometimes that were not edited out of the audiobook, and they were still apparent on 1.25x speed. There was also a little repetition of almost the same sentences a couple times throughout. Overall, this was excellent though and did a great job connecting Black resistance through time and across continents in a way that felt seamless. Sometimes violence is the answer!
