The Woman Behind The Waterfall
by Leonora Meriel
The description of this book made me think it was something that I would enjoy, but it was rather confusing a lot of the time.
While the writing was astounding and flowery, it wasn't my cup of tea and this type of book usually is. The language was very poetic, too poetic for me.
The story follows Angela, a young girl living in Ukraine. She is connected to everything from birds to plants and spends her time wandering and basically communicating with the nature around her.
It took me longer than I would have liked to really understand what the point was, but I think if a poetic type of book is your thing, it's for you.
