This is the perfect book when you want something that’s not too long, has two wonderful main characters, with a touch of steam and lots of sweet and it’s set in a small town with an interesting cast of side characters. 

Love can be expressed in a multitude of ways. Adam excels at writing love notes - he is an author after all - whilst Ryan is the master of carving intricate love tokens whether it be whittling the perfect alien or carving a beautiful lily. Circumstances have them living under the same roof and not too long after sharing the same bed. Their romance is low angst with low steam and bucket loads of sweet. It’s a very enjoyable read and a great way to fill in a few hours. This is part of a multi author series so expect glimpses of the 3 other stories in the series.
