This honestly scared the life out of me. I was on a camping trip with my boyfriend and parents and I’d gone into the van my boyfriend and I were sleeping in to have some quiet time to read. I don’t know if it was the wind, if it was an animal, or if this book was playing tricks on me and making my mind hear things that weren’t there. But to put it simply, I had the most frightening 10 minutes ever, and those 10 minutes were more frightening than anything else I’ve experienced before. I heard things, felt things, for whatever reason. I blame the book. And maybe that’s part of the magic of this book and why I love it so much
