I really love fantasy books where the main character gets dropped into a new world at the same time as the reader and this one was no exception. The playlist and songs for each chapter helped me completely immerse myself, and set the vibes in this story.  Our FMC, Serena, is a grown-ass woman, which is surprisingly refreshing for this genre.  I loved her sass and banter with the other characters and I really enjoyed seeing her come into her own as the story progressed.  There are multiple potential love interests and with all the twists and turns, I have no idea where this is going to go.  I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series as it's released.
