Wrecked

Where do I begin?! This blew me away, and it was definitely better than the first two in the series. I think the main reason why was because we got some great back stories for these two characters. Yes, the back stories of both Jax and Elena were tragic and sad and definitely something that made me feel for both of them, I think it added such a wonderful element to the strength of their relationship. And it made sense, as to why Jax was the way he was in the beginning of the book and for a good chunk throughout. I so felt for him when he got that devastating news, and I resonated with him when he said that he didn't want to promise Elena a future because of his pain and suffering. I have several chronic illnesses and it's a thought that has definitely crossed my mind when it comes to my own husband. Elena's past was so sad (and even her present with her abuela) as well, and I really felt for her. These two broken people came together to make someone beautiful and I absolutely loved that. As always, the F1 elements were so stellar and I love it so much that I have literally started watching and following myself! I'm a fan now, as Lauren Asher has converted me (and others, I'm sure). This series is addicting!
