The Only Plane in the Sky: An Oral History of 9/11

Possible Pop Sugar 2020 Prompts: by or about a journalist, more than 20 letters in the title, only words on the cover, 4 star rating on GoodReads
This book was listed as one of the highest rated books on GoodReads that I hadn't read yet. I was in 5th grade when 9/11 happened, and while I feel like I know the majority of the stories, this was a whole other view. This oral history of 9/11 is extremely intense, but all encompassing. You hear from people who some have passed since, but truly it all comes together to tell one story. I found this book sobering, but a really wonderful tribute to all that happened on that day, good and bad, so that future generations can know what occured and what it felt like.
