Hunted is definitely a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It's very formulaic and follows the original Disney version pretty closely. The Disney movie is one of my faves, but this book just didn't do it for me.

The author didn't seem to put her own spin on the story, and I found the timing to be very problematic. I did listen to this on audio, after DNF the Kindle version, and I think the audio is the only reason I actually finished it. Well, that and the fact that I was doing it for a buddy read and didn't want to let down the group.
