I really enjoyed how real the characters felt. They were flawed and imperfect. It felt like a true friends-to-lovers romance.
The first time they had sex, they laughed and joked to a normal extent like most couples who have been together a long time do. They had an ease with each other that felt natural.
I didn't like how rushed the third-act conflict and ending felt, however. It was like the third-act conflict hit and then the end was right there. I wish we got to see more of a resolution and more of their lives together after. The epilogue and bonus epilogue were chronologically out of order and sadly way too short for my liking.
