I loved every minute of this book. The writing is poetic and immersive, and I almost always enjoy a novel told from multiple perspectives that eventually intertwine. I also really appreciated the labor that Orange put into giving both historical context of the Native American experience, while also telling stories that show such varied perspectives of what it means to be Native American, specifically an Urban Indian, today. I can’t wait to read his next book.
