I don't know guys, Ransom Riggs just isn't for me I guess. I feel like these books are just very slow with a whole lot of nothing happening most of the time. I'm pretty bored while reading and just waiting for something to happen and I don't feel a connection to any of the characters. I absolutely hate Emma and her relationship with Jacob which I think is a bit gross and wrong considering she was in live with his granddad and seems to be using him as a substitute. The only peculiar I really liked in this book was Bronwyn. I did enjoy the twist(s) at the end and I will finish the trilogy as I've come this far but this trilogy definitely isn't as good as I expected it to be - I actually enjoyed the film a lot more than the books so far.
