I loved getting to live alongside these characters for a period of time. I can only think to describe my enjoyment of these characters by comparing it to my joy of reading A Little Life. It was a wonderful, nuanced look at complicated and beautiful relationships. Can’t believe this one flew under my radar for as long as it did!
