A Breath After Drowning
by Alice Blanchard
I got this book after my mom read it on vacation and handed it to me because she thought that in would be right up my alley, and it was!
Synopsis:
Kate is a children psychologist that has been through a lot. Her mom committed suicide when she was young and her sister was killed when she was a teenager. With her killer on death row and about to be put to death, Kate will meet someone that will have her second guessing everything she’s known and change her life forever.
Quick review:
The ending was unexpected (at least to me), and the personal growth that Kate experiences throughout the book was small, but from what she went through you can’t expect her to experience phenomenal changes.
