so first off i’d like to say that i loved the representation of anxiety/mental health struggles and bisexuality thru gabby’s character. however, there were a few things that i didn’t happen particularly enjoy about this book. the first being the writing style. personally, i found it very confusing to understand what was happening with all the jumping around. i also believe that this writing style prevented me from having a better understanding/connection to the characters due to the different sections of the book not being in chronological order. i just felt like i wasn’t able to fully grasp the characters’ developments because of this. the second thing that i didn’t enjoy was the ending. maybe i’m just a sucker for a happy ending, but i wasn’t satisfied after i finished this book. i feel like gabby and ryan were just finally starting to figure out how to handle their issues, but we never got to see their problems fully resolved and i just felt unsatisfied.
