I loved book one and what kept me from giving this a full five star was that I hate that so many people are still questioning Amari and treating her like shit as if she hasn't already proven herself. I'm also not a big fan of the redemption arc for either of the Van Helsing twins. I am glad that Quinton is finally awake though. I'm excited to see him and Amari work together and I hope he's on the cover of the next one!
