Not as impenetrable as Celestial Bodies! The writing and translation are lovely, more a novel made up of fragments. I likely would have rated it higher had I read it in print, but unfortunately it wasn't the right choice for audio. The narrator had a wonderful voice, and I loved hearing the Arabic expressions, but it was too nebulous and fragmentary for me to follow properly on audio.
