One of the best middle school books I have read in a long time. It's so sweet, funny, epic, and totally punk rock.

I love how it gives the message that the traditional and the modern don't always have to oppose one another. Given the chance, and when mixed together, they can create a connection to one's culture that is special to them in their own way.

Will definitely pass this along to any Mexican and/or punk-loving friend.
