This was a really good book but very academic in certain essays and took a while to get through since it was a lot to absorb. These essays are all written by disabled authors on the different disability topics. It was more of a four star read for me experience wise but I gave it the extra because of its importance. This is the kind of book that so many people need to read. Demystifying Disability is another one that I enjoyed more but it is a different format (one author with some folks interviewed) and I appreciated all the different voices highlighted in this one.
