Cinnamon is drunkenly walking in the woods one day when she comes across a demon, he tries to attack her and she throws cinnamon sticks at him. The next day Fallon, the demon, shows up claiming that the spice broke a curse all demons are under which makes them act crazy, and the person responsible is the goddess everyone worships. He threatens her into joining him on a quest to stop her, and along the way a lot happens.
It’s so good, Fallon raises my expectations of all men as any good book boyfriend should do. Cinnamon is great too and I love their interactions together with her teaching him human morals and him trying to mess with her and seduce her. They meet many interesting characters too that I love.
