Making a Play
by Abbi Glines
*4.5 Stars*
I really enjoyed this book. I was instantly drawn into the story and I really like how the heroine is deaf - it adds a different yet inclusive layer to the story. There were some real issues raised in this book, with both Aurora being deaf, and also how her father treats Ryker. I really liked Aurora's friendship with Tallulah and how her relationship with Ryker developed even that did seem quite fast.
I enjoyed all the layers to this, and I sped through the book when I had the chance to pick it up (outside of working), but I'm rating this 4.5 instead of 5 stars because the ending felt too rushed. Abbi seems to do this sometimes I have noticed, and I really would have liked a but more resolution and depth to the ending. Otherwise though, I really loved this one.
