Cheeky Royal
by Nana Malone
What an enjoyable romp around Manhattan is Cheeky Royal.
I do love a book with a royal-in-hiding kind of them, and this was just that - but it was so much more than just a royal in hiding.
The story had me engaged right from the start. I could feel Penny's hesitance at the beginning, I could feel her hurt and anger and frustration. And I cheered when she flipped the bird at people and went on to be fantastic at her job.
I liked the suspenseful side of things with Sebastian. I liked that yeah, he has had the privileged upbringing, but doesn't lean on it.
I liked the pull of attraction between Penny and Sebastian, even though you know the other shoe is going to drop soon.
This is part of a series, and yes is does end on a cliffy, however this is an older book so the next part is out.
I will go and read the next installment soon
