reading in 2025 the first half was a little “okay yeah and we’re back in it again” and I think I read it slowly because fatigue of living it and rereading it was a lot but pushing through to the last third was the right choice because it became a boulder loosened from the cliff face and picking up speed with crashing, terrain-reshaping hope. Dreaming the future into existence isn’t naive or simple. We have to shape change communally and name the goodness we want for each other. And if we can act on that together this thinly gilded cult of dominance has no future in what we’re scaping.
