The Remains of the Day
by Kazuo Ishiguro
It feels good to get this off the TBR, even though I didn’t love it. It took about 70 pages to get really into it, but it was immersive. An English butler reflects on his years of service to determine if he’s truly satisfied with the life he’s lived. Definitely an interesting perspective of pre-war England, but not worth a reread for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
