Okay, so here is the thing: I'm not crazy about fae. I have tried, but everything I have tried to read has seemed to be a wannabe ACOTAR (which I already do not like). So, poorly written relationships and sex scenes, cringe, etc. However, this was refreshing! It was sweet and romantic and I love the dynamic of our heroine with the mysterious masked human and the fae. I love hidden/unknown identity, and this book did it well. The relationships were well written and there was an appropriate buildup between all characters that I genuinely enjoyed reading.
