Everything Michaela Jean Taylor touches turns to gold. This book is no exception. Oh my word, was this book so perfect. It was everything you could ever want in a romance novel. It had a fiery and quick-witted leading lady, a tall, dark, and handsome cowboy who's down bad for the leading lady, and a cast of side characters that add to the humor and heart of the story. This book was so good. Similar to Sunshine, it has a tragic backstory, and very real struggles the main characters deal with. I cared about the characters, I cared about the resolve at the end, I cared about everything working out. And it did, and it was so satisfying. Not one second of this book was boring. I was hooked every second. Miss Taylor, please let me read your grocery lists. I'll read anything you write.
