I am NOT a dark romance girly in any sense, but this book was absolutely phenomenal. I never felt overwhelmed by the dark material and genuinely enjoyed nearly every moment of my read. The humor and banter really made me laugh and made the entire book feel lighter. I’d almost describe it as cozy? I was kicking my feet and giggling for this adorable couple. They are just perfect for each other. I expected the plot to take a back burner to the spice, but both aspects were firing on all cylinders! The narrators are both incredible.
