Riding the coat tails of all the "Girl" books we've seen released over the last few years, All the Missing Girls tries to be a bit smarter than most. I've read a couple of books trying the similar "something happened to the main female character 10 years ago and there will be a twist" in the last year and this is definitely the best.

Nic returns home at her brother's request to sell their family home. The story works backwards over the course of 2 weeks to pull apart Nic's own memories of her missing best friend from 10 years before, as well as her connection to a recently missing local girl. The end of the story was a let down: commit some crimes, cover for your family, no one goes to jail.

Writing is inoffensive and I would probably give it 3.5 stars if given the choice. Would make a good movie and I quite liked the character narrative, again in comparison to other novels from the same genre. Easy to read and finished in no time at all!
