This story is conceptually cool, and well done. The two narrators whom share a single journey tell their story across thousands of years. The back and forth between chapters and narrators gives you a glimpse of the past and the future. You must pick up the clues and fill in the missing pieces as you read. I appreciate that both of the heroines are flawed, imperfect, and desirous. They have their own goals and ambitions outside of the male characters. They make mistakes. They complain. One of the best books I’ve read this year.
