Thank you to the publisher for a Netgalley of this one. The writing of this novel is absolutely wonderful. The prose is gorgeous. The family is well written. And lord did this take me on a trip. Loved the story that spanned decades. Did not love all the family members, but really are you supposed to? Also, I could have used 50 less pages. But why this was 4 and not 5 is by the time the end got there, I was kind of relieved. Sad at parts, but not emotionally gut wrenching like I was expecting. But relieved to move on from this family. Overall, I would recommend but only to those who love family dramas that span decades.
