I recently have really enjoyed poetry and discovering new poets. There was a book I read last year called "Today Means Amen" that I absolutely loved, and I'd seen people raving over this collection and audiobook. I'm gonna be honest...I didn't get it. I tend to be very hit or miss with poetry and this one just left me feeling kind of confused and not smart enough to get it. It's not bad, per say, just not much for me.
