The Right Move by Liz Tomforde
4.5

Mini Book Review: 4.5 - This book was my book club's pick for sports romance.
I absolutely loved reading it!

"Sometimes the quietest love is the loudest."

This book was so swoony especially from the second half on when it was apparent that there were feelings towards each other. This book had the tropes that are some of my favorite: force proximity, fake dating and there was even a one bed moment!

Were there moments that were predictable? Sure but isn't that in all romances?
I thought the pacing was pretty good but some parts did feel like it dragged. And I also didn't like how Ryan was trying to tell Indy on what she couldn't do for work. Especially since he hardly knew her.

I do wish I had read Mile High prior to this because I did love when we got Stevie & Zanders but this definitely can be read as a stand alone. I am looking forward to going back to read the first one and then the most recent book.

I paired this book with the audio and both narrators were great!

I also don't want to shy away from the controversy surrounding the author's books. I thought my group had great discussion and didn't shy away from the privileges this author has.

Swoon: 10/10
