I was inspired to read this book after visiting Wright's home in Oak Park. Knowing the ending made me feel a sense of foreboding throughout the book that others might not have. I found this a beautiful meditation on upper class American feminism in the early 1900s. I am also inspired to learn more about Ellen Key.
