When Stars Are Scattered
by Victoria Jamieson, Omar Mohamed
MG
Thank you for this wonderful story! Learning about the day-to-day life of these children who are all alone (but surrounded by community) at a refugee camp.
This story is so important for me as an adult to hear.
I loved listening to the author's notes at the end. They touch on why I love to read. Victoria makes a point to encourage readers not just to read about, but to talk to people because it is important that we understand the stories of those we live with. She encourages compassion and understanding for those who live differently than we do.
