With all the hype of this book I was expecting it to be my next favourite read but man this fell short. Now I’m left wondering whether that is because I had such high expectations. 

 This is a good thriller for someone just diving into the genre. The twists are a plenty but none of them had my jaw on the floor. Which has been true for all of Megan Miranda’s book for me. 

 The writing is top-notch and keeps your attention throughout. There were times when I felt like I missed something because the narrative jumps so much from situation to situation. So I would read again to find my answers. 

 Overall I think it’s a good in between book.
