Favorite book so far this month and it should really be a movie!! Evie has been an agent's assistant in the movie writing industry for seven years, which is often unheard of as people tend to start there and climb the professional ladder. She does want to be an agent and originally wanted to write movies, but her dad was her biggest cheerleader and after he died she got one rejection and quit writing. Now, she is dealing with a persnickety writer who owes the producers a romcom script but appears to hate the genre. She tells him all about meet cutes and they come up with a plan for her to try to manufacture all the typical movie meet cutes to inspire his script as long as he starts turning in pages on a regular basis. Along the way she meets a single dad and his daughter, who wants to know about Evie's experiences and cheer her on.
