I went into this book totally blind because it was the choice for reading club, didn't regret it in the end. Didn't expect it to be that bloody that fast, but I quickly got with it. It felt like I was watching '90s/'00s movie with a lot of stereotypical characters and predictable plot points, which was not necessarily bad. After reading author's note at the end, I now realize why were characters and plot like that. All in all, I had fun, it was an acceptable summer horror and I'm glad I've read it.
