Wrong Way Home by K.A. Merikan
4.0

"Maybe that fucking audiobook had been right. Maybe change was always good, even if difficult."

Well shit, the ride this one took me on...phew!
Totally worth the hours of sleep I missed to finish it.

These two were something else but Taron had his hold on me through this entire book and when it came down to it I really wanted to hate Colin.
Colin took what he thought was a shortcut to get home but in reality he was driving towards what would end up being a complete change to his life, after awhile that is.
Taron is.. well not a recluse but a prepper. All alone except for his cats on his land and now has Colin. He can't let him go. He's seen too much.

This book is dark romance with little touches that make it more than that.
The emotions throughout from Colin grip you in a way that makes you want to keep going and see what happens, the same with Taron.
And who knows maybe there is truth to Taron's theories about the world.
Maybe now is the time to prep..
The "scenes" are very yep that's happening but only really added to the story and the why of it all, just you wait and see. You'll agree with Taron, I did.

Just know that if you are driving down a road that is in total darkness that feels sketchy...don't keep going. You might encounter what Colin did but not how it ends.
