An Absolutely Remarkable Thing
by Hank Green
GOODNESS THIS BOOK BLEW MY EXPECTATIONS OUT OF THE WATER! It was a perfectly timed read for me, and I found it un-put-down-able and full of heart. This story never drops a beat, and I was captivated by April May and her story, which speaks thoughtfully about humanity in so many surprising and lovely moments. I found it especially cool how the story delves into fame in a really honest way which I found to be obviously influenced by Green's own experiences becoming viral and internet/real life famous in ways that surprised him. I had only a couple issues while reading the book, and the first was just a way in which the story was doing its job right in making me uncomfortable. The second is a strong desire to have seen the story continued much longer! It does end pretty well but also sequel please?
Edit I found out there is a sequel. Squeeeeeee!
