Fabian Risk is a police detective who returns to his hometown for a new start. A new start with a new police force after being forced to resign from his job in Stockholme, and a new start with his wife and family.
He is immediately thrown into the middle of a case when an old ninth grade classmate is brutally murdered.
Fabian is not a team player and though his hunches and solo excursions help the case they also cause enough problems that he is removed from the case.
This doesn't stop Fabian though, and we soon see that things are not exactly like we have been lead to believe.
