I liked The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo but not Daisy Jones and the Six. But i liked the writing in both. This was a nice read, it felt very short because of the pacing. The back and fourth between timelines an different characters was done so very well. I loved it. I didn’t expect this book to be so relatable and cathartic in the end but it was a pleasant surprise.
Nina and the siblings reminded a little of Shameless and Fiona. It was sad to see Nina almost repeat her mother’s mistakes and almost staying with a man just like her father. Chronic cheaters are the worst. There is a cycle and it on us entirely to break it.
I wish there was a little epilogue to see a glimpse of what happened to each of them after a bit of time.
