Jennifer Hillier is a terrific writer. There is no doubt about that. The pacing in this book was great and I really loved the characters and felt for them.

however, I had to give it three stars because it was predictable. I’ve read other stories just like this one and there weren’t enough red herrings to keep things interesting. I guess the major plot points almost immediately.

I would recommend this to someone looking for a quick distraction or maybe even a beach read.
