Monsters of Men
by Patrick Ness
This feels like an extension of the second book, but in a good way. Honestly Patrick Ness has a way of redeeming characters. So the mayor was awful, but honestly it's heartbreaking because it shows a blurry line between good and bad. Even mistress coyle - she wasn't bad or good, just human.
This whole trilogy has been a question on human morality and I'm living for it.
I'm remaining hopeful for a 'happy' ending for this book. As happy as it can get, but God This series was good.
