Like World War Z but robots, this book tracks the collapse and eventual victory of the human race in its war against robots with chapters from all over the world. (And don't worry, that's not a spoiler, it's the first chapter.) The author has a Ph.D. in robotics, and wields it to craft a story that is will absolutely terrify you, especially if you hate robots as much as I do.

Both scary and intelligent, I recommend calming yourself down after you finish it by watching gifs of incompetent robots online for a while.
