WE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS and it really did deliver! The connections to the original trilogy are so well thought out, even if a bit obvious but I'd I had so much fun (and suffering).
My biggest takeaway is that it sets the original trilogy as the culmination of a communal work that had been in the making for years. Revolutions might take years to consolidate, but change is inescapable and there's a long line of people carrying the torch before it can take hold.
I have to reread the main trilogy after this.
