Her Secret
by Kelly Florentia
This isn't normally a genre I would read but I actually really enjoyed this series.
If you thought the last book was dramatic then you are in for a treat with this one. It is non stop drama with all the twists and turns. I honestly didn't know who to believe and I had no guesses as to what was going to happen. Towards the end, I started questioning her husbands behaviour but the ending was definitely a shock.
Her series celebrates women in their 40-50s that lead vibrant, sexy and fun lives. It highlights the universal themes of step-parenting, love in your 40s and never truly knowing yourself until you are tested.
Even though this book is all about women in their 40-50s and I'm not quite there yet I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved hearing all about Audrey's life and seeing her amazing friendships. There are so many amazing characters that you just want to sit and have a glass of wine with. I think Her Secret was my favourite out of the two and I found Audrey much more likeable.
I would definitely recommend reading No Way Back first as Her Secret will ruin all the suspense of the first book if you haven't read it. It also makes you understand Audrey's life and emotions so much better
