If you overlook the obvious colonial mentality and blatant racism, this book is again one of the best I have read this year. I especially love the stream of consciousness writing that just felt too real. Once again I am amazed at how far we have come in terms of medical care. I have read this for the course of Trauma Literature and it just brought different perspectives that was not privy to my eyes in the first place. I suggest you to read this especially for the writing and the sheer brilliance.
