*mild spoiler at the end* I've had this book for a very long time, at least a few years, and I started it when I originally got it but I guess I didn't really get it? So I didn't get that far into it. But I picked it back up and I am actually pretty grateful that I waited because although it's a very easy to read book I think I understood it and even related a little more now that I'm older. This whole book was just great honestly and it was real. I love books that feel like they could have been real and the author sat and watched and documented. And that's what this one felt like for me. It was like real people going through real things in their life and figuring out how to deal. [spoiler starts here] The way it ended was good too, it wasn't cliche like "oh he's all fixed up now because he spent a week in psych". Craig acknowledges he will never been "fixed", and in fact you don't get "fixed". You learn to deal and you learn to live. He found his reasons to keep living. And I think lots of people can really relate to that.
